10/03/08: We are pleased to confim that after lengthy discussions, we shall shortly become an approved dealer of one of the most admired and respected bicycle brands in the world. Trek bikes have a formidable reputation as manafacturers of some of the best road, mountain and hybrid bikes. It was riding a Trek that Lance Armstrong rode to victory in the Tour de France a record breaking 7 times! First models arrive in stock this week and will be available to browse* online over the next few weeks. * Please note we will not mail order Trek bicycles although you can still purchase online for store collection.
27/01/08: Over the next few weeks we shall be updating our website to feature hundreds more products. In particular, we shall be adding the latest bikes from Genesis and Ridgeback, Merida and Claud Butler. In addition to the bikes, we continue our quest to source the best accessories that are both functional, fashionable and high quality. Following a succesful trial and great customer feeedback, we shall also be increasing our range of Dutch bikes from Sparta and featuring all online.
28/10/07: Following the success of last year, we shall once again be running our Christmas club, whereby you can reserve your bike/s from now on with a £10 deposit and pay as much as you want, when you want and collect just before Christmas. Remove the hassle of storing a bulky item and assembling the bike on Christmas eve and leave it all to us. Your bike will be profesionally assembled and ready to ride and any accessories you require can also be put aside and fitted for you.
19/07/07: Tax free bikes! Yes they do exist and it is legal! One of the few things we can thank Mr Brown for is this wonderful initiative. We are partner members of www.cyclescheme.co.uk who are the Uk's number 1 supplier of tax free bikes for work through independent bike shops. Put simply, your employer must be willing to run the scheme as the scheme is run through salary sacrifice, whereby you temporarily agree to reduce your wages to pay for the hire of goods - in this case of bike and equipment. Once you have your employer on board then Cyclescheme help them administer the process and you should be on two new shiny wheels before you can say ' where are my trouser clips?'.
